Gray Whale Golden Tail: This gray whale’s color took on a gold hue
bathed in late afternoon “golden hour” sunlight. Watching the whale dive
down and raise its fluke above the water as if to wave goodbye as it
swam off towards the setting sun was a perfect ending to beautiful a day
of whale watching.
