A chef and painter

Using oils and acrylics, and favoring the pallet knife, I create paintings that tell the stories of women and the deep emotions of the moments captured. Some of my most beloved work has come from love and loss … from the death of my sister to lost love, passion had, and the pursuit of true love.

Growing up in a small rural town in western Massachusetts I was always surrounded by my large family. My fondest memories are of board games with friends, swimming in the rivers, and walks in the rain on a country road. Although I left MA at 18 to serve in the US Navy and get away from small town living and explore the world, I miss it terribly now and cherish my visits home.

After settling in southern California in the late 90’s my son was born and we eventually made our home in Newport Beach, CA. In 2011 I pursued my dream of being a chef and opened Whole Health Everyday, a personal chef service with chefs working throughout Southern California.
