Rachel Monet

Newport Beach artist, Rachel Monet, has been an artist for as long as she can remember. While
she jokes that she can’t remember what she had for breakfast yesterday, she vividly remembers
how much she enjoyed finger painting in Kindergarten! In fact, she loved it so much that art
became her favorite class in school and that’s pretty much the only reason she stayed in school,
she readily admits.
Mostly self-taught, except for that awesome general media arts teacher in high school… A
prolific producer, Rachel’s painting styles vary widely from realism, to impressionism,
surrealism, expressionism, and abstract.
